We were delighted to announce that we have been included in the Good Hotel Guide Awards for 2019. The Lower Farm B&B entry contains the following independent review:
A series of disused outbuildings on the Marriott family’s small arable farm has been converted into homely B&B rooms. Surrounded by fields and fresh air, it’s a wholesome setting. Robert Marriott and his brother, John, run the farm; Caroline Marriott is the ‘friendly, accommodating’ hostess. Simple, attractive bedrooms, arranged around a central courtyard, occupy the converted milking parlour and stables; several may be connected to suit a family. The hearty farmhouse breakfast might include porridge with fresh cream, a farmer’s butty, steak and eggs (a speciality); ideal fuel for tackling walking and cycling tracks from the door, including the Nene Way footpath which runs through the farm.
